Hailing from Wisconsin, Jordyn is an up and coming country music artist with a story to tell. Jordyn has grown up on 90’s country music but back in her hometown no-one had the big vision of being a singer so she didn’t tell anyone that she wanted to sing until she was 18 years old and instead focused on studying to be a veterinarian.
During that time, country music never left Jordyn and she landed a job at a local country radio station which fuelled her passion of singing again. Jordyn decided that she would move to Nashville after she graduated and has since performed at historical venues including Mercy Lounge, Exit/In and Tootsies.
Jordyn's debut single is out now with an album to follow.
Growing up on a small farm in Southern Wisconsin, Jordyn listened to country music all the time! She knew since she was five years old that she wanted to be a singer. However, in her small town, no one would think to go after that dream. So she focused on being a veterinarian, keeping her singing career in the back of her mind. While she didn’t end up becoming a veterinarian, she still graduated with an Animal Science Degree from Iowa State University. When COVID hit her junior year, she stayed in Ames up until her last semester, then Jordyn moved back home and finished her degree online. When she made this decision, she started working for a local radio station. Jordyn knew she was going to make it in country music. Two days after college graduation she moved to Nashville to chase her dream of being a singer. Three months later she told everyone back home that she was pursuing her life long dream of being a singer. Since Jordyn moved to Nashville, she’s played in venues like Honky Tonk Central, Tootsies, Mercy Lounge, and Exit/In. Jordyn has been writing nonstop, as well as attending/performing in songwriters rounds. Some of Jordyn’s influences include, but not limited to: Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, Hailey Whitters, Lainey Wilson, Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Zach Bryan, Alan Jackson, George Strait, Carly Pearce, and the list goes on. When you listen to Jordyn’s music you will be able to hear these influences.
